The international delegation criticized North Korea's human rights record. Our state believes in communism and that private ownership of property is not allowed. This system that we have has several advantages in which many social depravities and moral injustices do not occur. North Korea does not have problems found in many Western countries such as striking labour unions and social improprieties such as are found between the rich and the poor. Although Western countries discuss the "democracy" of their countries, these same countries are trying to DICTATE what standards we are to conform to. This is a double standard. All of the education and health care in North Korea is free. The system that one might find in the United States cannot be called "free" and many of the citizens of the United States do not receive health services and suffer because they do not have money to pay. These are just a few of the social improprieties that one can find in Western cultures.
It is appalling to see that the United States refuses to sign such treaties as the Landmines ban treaty as this country feels that the landmines that have been planted in South Korea, are needed to give them a tactical advantage in being able to "slow" the enemy, which is us. Who are hurting human rights now? Who is planning aggression now? These burning questions demand an answer.

Terrific poverty, famine and now a total disregard for any human life have been made by the United States. The decision they made to with hold fuel was political and has no regard to the humanitarian impact on people in North Korea. Who is the oppressor now? While Americans live their lives in luxury, pumping up their military, and threatening little countries, we are forced to scour our land, which was so savagely ruined, by Western countries.
